Dear Jeffrey,
My husband and I want you to know that we appreciated the Word that you ministered to us Sunday Eve. @ Family Worship Center and also the insight that you shared on
"The Message on the Cross" and Francis and Friends. We are Media church members from Lincoln, NE. We have been researching the modern movements of the church and have diligently sought to find a church that is preaching the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ, but to our knowledge there is not one church in our city. We are so grateful for the freedom that we have experienced since we came back to the Cross!! Please pray with us that the Holy Spirit will draw others in this area who desire to know the truth. We will keep your ministry in our prayers. God has truly given you much insight regarding the great deception of the church. Thank you for taking a solid stand on Christ our solid Rock. God Bless

Dear friends. Please pray for our nine-year-old ministry -- www.tjlit.org (Testifying Jesus’ Love in Truth).
We make free resumes, teach free English weekly, and do free translations/interpretations in 17 languages to any church or organization that asks us to. We also give out 3000 tracts each week, and we get people who are abused, have mental illness and other problems into churches and places where they can receive help, and get kids into free dentists.
We love the Lord, and love the ministry he has blessed us with. We are deeply committed to fighting racism and poverty.
Please send us your prayers (Email: reachus@tjlit.org.), and pass our site to friends, missionaries and family, as there are many who are lonely.
At the moment we are trying to set up a pen pal club so people from all over can write to others and develop friendships.
Nobody should be lonely. If you read this and are lonely, please contact us and we will do our best to get you into a good church wherever you are in the world.
Please also click on and read the Bible verse of the day, and say a prayer for us.
Is there anyway we can help you? Please contact us.
Praise God, contact us if you are lonely, and God bless you.

To our American friends: Please read article 51 on our site “Things I love about America.”

Thank you for your continued labors and the scriptural [firm but friendly] stance you have taken concerning current issues.

We have pastored in Wy & OK and now minister the available pulpit. In the midst of this desperate apostasy we are seeing a small but powerful remnant being formed. We are believing for a mighty out-pouring of the Holy Spirit in these last days and pray that we may contribute something worthy for Christ our Lord.

Keep the faith my friend, we''ll make it a point to visit your church if & when we are in that area.

could you please agree with us as we don't have a Pastor, and our little church needs someone to come. We go to all the Pentecostal churches, but never the moving of the Holy Spirit there, and as a family, Lamb family we travel to native reserves, and love ministering with the native ministries, but in our city is so empty. Please pray for my family, Kimberly, Debbie, and Pamela, all beautiful young woman of God in their 20's and are believing for young men of God who love the Lord, and love the precious moving of the Holy SPirit, but seems like the Lord Jesus has provided that. Could you also pray for Clay, a musician in our ministry, who is i, that clear vision would come to his life, and he would see his way for marriage. Also for my husband Melvin, who grew up a baptist and is struggling also because the Pentecostal churches the Holy Spirit is so put on the back burner, that he is not growing like he was years ago when I prayed him into the Pencostal experience. Sometimes Pastor I feel all alone to get going on. Please pray for my life. I love the precious moving of the HOly Spirit and preaching of the cross and the anointing, but somehow I just need pray for my life. And the HOly Spirit will speak to a Pastor to come to our city of Edmonton and we could see the power of God touch people. As I witnessed watching Bro. Gabe at Crossfire Youth, it was awesome. Thank you for sharing. We need a Pastor in our city of Edmonton, please pray for us. Sometimes we just feel all alone, and especially myself, as my family are all struggling, because there is no place for them to go an fellowship where the moving of the Holy Spirit is, even though there are evangelical churches on every corner of our city, and many large Pentecostal churches. Thank yuo.

Rev. Whittaker, through links from Lighthouse Trails, to Discernment Ministries, to the conference which is coming on OCt 10 and 11 to Michiana Christian Embassy(which The Lord is leading me to attend), I have read your deeply insightful letters of humble expression of concerns to your "superiors", and I want to thank you for allowing the Truth to set your church free, even at great personal cost for the losses. I wasn't sure I would attend, because I am now, very careful where I go, in these days, but I know The Lord, through you and Dr. Erdmann and Pastor DeBruyn, will have specific gifts of encouragement, insight, edification and comfort for those who come to hear, learn, and to go back into the places God is calling us to. I am a retired, ordained interim minister. I have suffered greatly (with Christ beside me all the way) in the churches I have served, where I preached His word faithfully, even when it felt as though only a precious few would hear...(of course, we never know.)So many are shaking their fists at God, in these days. I was blessed to read of a church where the Fire of God is warmly burning! I ask The Lord to pass His fire to those who carry the fatsticks, who are to re-ignite the smoldering logs in other places, where those who believe, need the new wind of The Holy Spirit to fan the embers of hope. I also pray for traveling mercies for your guest speakers, for those who will attend, and for the Power of The Holy Spirit to protect and lead many to come. Dear Jeff, My husband and I listened to you on the Francis and Friends Program on SonLife Radio last night. I, especially was interested in what you shared, as I was born into an Assembly of God family. I accepted the Lord into my heart at 5 yrs. of age and was baptised in the Holy Spirit when I was 13 yrs. old at the Nebraska Assembly of God campgrounds(I'm now 55). I attended North Central Bible College for only a year, and was very disappointed in the lack of spiritual discernment and humanistic endeavors permeated throughout the school on many levels(of course, there were also, individuals that truly loved the Lord.) I erroneously had thought that there might be such a thing as Christian Psychology, but quickly found out it was filled only with secular textbooks and teachers who taught from those books (Carl Rogers mostly). One particular troubling chapel speaker spoke about the lack of needing a call of God on one's life, just seeing a need, was His call to each of us. As tough as the ministry is, I knew without the call of God personally to the individual, ministry would be impossible. My husband(was raised a Methodist and accepted the Lord and was baptised in the Holy Spirit in '75) and I were married in '77 in our Assembly of God church that was changing already with the influence of the Charismatic movement-{nuns and Catholic layity starting attending some of our services and we were encouraged to join their prayer groups and they attended some of ours. But there was never really unity in the Holy Spirit. I quit attending these meetings when one of the Catholic priests kept asking us to repent, then when we had prayed for a long time, supposedly repenting, he just kept emphasizing that we hadn't repented enough. That seemed to go on for a small eternity-I guess just a foretaste of percutory. (Ha Ha) Our pastor and some of our members were asked to and attended the Catholic blessing of animals.} Later our pastor was seduced by the Word of Faith doctrine-name it and claim it. Those that were rich monetarily were seen as closer to God, with greater faith. We were told to only listen to the pastor for direction from God and that what we had perceived previously as God speaking to us was actually demonic. ( Of course, I rejected that as I knew that would question my salvation and baptism.) Our church went through cell groups with EW Kenyon teaching. My parents (my dad who was a deacon at that time and for years previously) and my mom were asked to head a cell group. My husband and I warned them about EW Kenyon heretical teachings, but they assured us they only shared the bible and their blessed experiences of their years as Christians. Later, the pastor ousted the "oldtimers" as cell group leaders and injected the newcomers with impressionable minds. One night Bill Hamon(not sure of the spelling but he's considered a "prophet") held a service at our church in which things got wild. I always remember my mom and the saints of our church warning us of "wildfire"; I think that referred to the latter rain movement that was infecting the AG in the late '40's to early 50's, is now reinfecting the church now. Anyway, this Bill Hamon started chanting, "Hondo, Hondo, Hondo, etc." and stamping his foot like a drum beat. Later there were people grabbing other people to participate in a dance that sure was not orchestrated by the Holy Spirit.(We had an elderly brother in our church years ago that would do a victory march around our church. He was so overcome with joy from his salvation. That had the Spirit of God on it, but this meeting with Bill Hamon did not. After that service a member of the church had to be checked into the hospital because of nervous problems and a retired school teacher, a long time member of the church, was hit by a car in front of the church and never totally recovered. That night, God told me to get out. I had to pick Him or the fellowship of that church. I picked Him, and I can see His great love and compassion in saving me and my family from what was going on and is now going on in that church- Calling down FIRE upon people from the influence of the Canadian laughing revival, Rick Warren teachings, Elijah List and prophets, on and on. Our pastor who had been seduced with this heretical teaching, had previously taught us in '67 that if, even he, would stray from the right way, we should follow the word of God. It's sad that he didn't seem to remember that warning. At that time(in the early 80's) I wrote a multible page letter to the General Superintendent of the Assembly of God sharing the heresy we were being taught, but I never did receive a reply. God blessed me with a dream in which I was in church and the pastor (who I have spoken of) was preaching, but I could not understand him. It sounded like he was mumbling, but others could apparently hear him and seemed to understand him. I left the church and was directed to a riverbank with flowing water and although I could not distinctly see who the people were, there were many along it banks. God impressed upon me that I would be like a tree planted by the water whose leaves would not wither , who would bear fruit in its season. My folks later left the church, my mom would not go back after a speaker rebuked those who thought Jesus could come back at anytime. He said we had to set up the kingdom here before Jesus could return. The Lord is always good, and our family had been warned many years ago (in the early 60's)by our Godly minister from my hometown Assembly of God (not the AG in the town we had moved to in "65 and not the beguiled minister that I have written of). My childhood pastor had warned my dad, "Brother Jurgensen the Assemblies of God is going to leave the true way and it will happen soon." This did happen, a little at first but now it looks like the enemy has flooded the denomination with his ways. I guess I first noticed the infiltration on a national level when the Evangel was filled with psycological answers instead of answers from the word of God. I know there are probably some AG churches that still stay true to the word of God. Anyway, I don't know if what I shared with you will be of interest to you, but I guess I just want you to know we understand the heartache you and others are experiencing. Thank you for fighting the good fight and staying true to the gospel message in this day of apostasy. Our prayers are with you. Just a side note, the latter rain and emerging church movements deny or at least downplay the Blessed Hope, the Rapture of the Church, and the importance of prophecy concerning the restablishment of Israel within her land and the other fulfillment of prophesy leading up to the Second Coming. God Bless You and your family and church. In Christ's Love, Jon and Heidi Watson

You are smart to have your bylaws written so that you retain your property should you disaffiliate from the Michigan District Assemblies of God. But you should be aware that if you do disaffiliate, the district may take you to court for your property, arguing that their bylaws supercede your own. This is what they have done with a church in Warren, MI. And in doing so they are being used by s a t a n (I had to spell this with spaced in it because your guestbook filter won't let me post his wretched name) in an attempt to end Christ's ministry to the 8 Mile area. The district will use the court process to drain your funds as you have to pay your attorneys through the entire drawn-out process. Beware. Just as Jesus had to deal with corrupt religious leaders, so we must deal with them today.

Being a former member I loved your site. I saw pictures of old friends and read with great interest the letters on the GPN. I have been in Fl. for a long time and attended several churches and have never been able to find a home church like Michiana First. I have found out that not all AG churches are created equal. It was a touch from home and I would not have ever thought of it if my sister Kathy Kennedy had not suggested it. When my Mom started attending the church was a store front down town, then we moved to the church on Main St. and then to it's current location. Please pray for my estranged family and that God will help both Kathy and I to find a church to call home.
